This time I decided to grumble from the boundaries of Bogliasco, albeit slightly, and still a topic that covers many bogliaschini.
The reason is that today I bought a ticket of AMT in Genoa, and when I paid two euro and I received only 50 cents for the rest I was convinced that the seller had made a mistake.
I checked and found that the Mobility and Transportation Company of Genoa has provided a striking change from a tariff 'in February 2011.
The favorable aspect is, for those few who are concerned that the duration of the ticket has increased from 90 to 100 minutes.
What a little 'less favorable, the costs are varied in this way:
- single ticket from € 1.20 to € 1.50 (increase of 25.00%)
- Carnet 10 tickets from € 11 to € 14 (increase of 27.27%)
- Monthly from € 36 to € 43 (increase of 19.44%)
The site is also indicated the reasons for this bloodletting in relation to travelers:
Starts Tuesday 1st February 2011 the adjustment rate of AMT as a result of the cut in state transfers........
The AMT issues are the same all over the national public transport, due to lack of structural rules and a chronic underfunding of the system that today is even worse.
The first thought was that if this is federalism, then I do not like.
The second, more rational, was to see what happens in other cities. I checked
Milan and Rome have found that in both cities the ticket costs € 1 and € 30 monthly subscription.
Then I thought about possible comments and say that it is administered by the city, whose center-right mayors, rather than embarrass the Government, send a topsy-turvy and that the municipal budget, however, since the city can make huge savings of scale impossible in smaller towns.
At this point, I expanded the search to other cities with very different characteristics and these are the results: | | Ticket | Abbon.mens. |
| MILAN | € 1.00 | € 30.00 |
| ROME | € 1.00 | € 30.00 |
| TORINO | € 1.00 | € 32.00 |
| BOLOGNA (1) | € 1.20 | € 36.00 |
| FLORENCE (2) | € 1.20 | € 35.00 |
| NAPLES (3) | € 1.10 | € 36.70 |
| GENOA | € 1.50 | € 43.00 |
(1) With effect from 1/2/2011
(2) As of 1/10/2010
(3) gives access to the entire network of local public transport (bus, trolley , subway, train, funicular, tram) in the urban area of \u200b\u200bNaples and the surrounding 14 municipalities of the suburban
So I think again: the problem is not federalism The problem is the former Super Marta!
