Commedia delicata e sorridente, 'La banda dei Babbi Natale' segna un approccio radicalmente diverso alla comicità natalizia, spesso triviale: ''Non ci sono risate grasse, ma qualità'' sottolinea Aldo, mentre Giacomo aggiunge: ''Facciamo lo stesso lavoro, ma altri fanno scelte diverse: a noi piace così, qui non si spoglia nessuna, almeno non davanti a noi''. Il segreto? ''Non si preoccupano di piacere al pubblico, sono spontanei'', prosegue Genovese, mentre ''la fan preistorica'' Angela Finocchiaro evidenzia ''l'onestà di questi 'clown puri', dotati di un humour difficile da ritrovare altrove''.
